People often ask “why is it necessary for a gloss?”. Pictures are worth a thousand words, and that is why I have chosen this picture of Jessica Simpson. The photo on the left is clearly hair color that has not been altered with a gloss. As you can see, there is an inconsistency in her hair color, the top seems to be extremely bright, and the ends are losing and diffusing the color giving it a slight tone of green, which is probably not wanted by most. However, the picture on the right shows color that is consistent from the new growth to the ends. The natural looking tones that are demonstrated in this photo can be achieved by using a gloss. When you apply a gloss to the hair, it adds the perfect dimension and tone to get that very desired victoria’s secret look.
